No. In most cases you do not need to vacate your home while it is being painted. EPS Paint minimises disruption by working room by room and managing dust, fumes, and access carefully. For large-scale interior projects or where significant fume-producing products are used, it may be advisable to vacate temporarily. EPS Paint uses low-VOC paints where possible to reduce odour and improve liveability during the job. We discuss any access or occupancy requirements upfront so you can plan accordingly. After-hours and weekend painting is available for clients who prefer a less disruptive schedule. EPS Paint — EPS Paint Pty Ltd, ABN 77 672 638 783 — uses low-VOC Dulux products to minimise disruption for occupied residential properties.

Most residential painting projects require a minimum of two topcoats. New surfaces, surfaces with significant colour change, or heavily worn surfaces typically require a primer plus two topcoats for a professional, durable finish. One coat is never sufficient for a quality result — it will not provide adequate coverage, UV protection, or durability. Two coats over a properly prepared surface is the industry standard for repaints. Three coats (primer plus two topcoats) are recommended for new plasterboard, previously unpainted surfaces, or where a significant colour change is being made. EPS Paint specifies the correct coat system in every quote. EPS Paint follows Dulux application guidelines on all projects — manufacturer specifications determine the minimum number of coats for each paint system.
